Description

The Global Compliance Management team supports the ongoing management of the Compliance Department The team advises on various Department owned processes including; resourcing, department governance, talent development, training management and development, the Annual Compliance Plan and the Integrity Hotline Global Compliance Management reports to the Chief Operating Officer of the Compliance Department

Key Responsibilities

The employee may be asked to contribute to any aspect of the teams mandate and assignments will typically be global in scope Assignments may involve multi-tasking at a fast pace and require coordination with geographically dispersed stakeholders The employee will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management and gain insight into the Department strategy and execution The employee must be professional at all times and practice discretion when handling sensitive information

Examples include

Create materials and manage the Compliance Departments global governance activities, including participation in Firm Operating and Board-level committees

Manage the Firms Integrity Hotline Program (whistleblower program) Responsible for overseeing the review of all matters raised through the program, trend analysis, regulatory and Board reporting and implementing enhancements

Assist the Compliance COO with management of the Compliance Departments global FP&A activities Manage the global expense budget, global headcount, location strategy and assist in implementing cost control initiatives

Oversee the annual horizon risk scanning process for the creation the Annual Compliance Plan (ACP) Provide quarterly updates to the CCO and governance committees on the progress to plan for the Policy, Training, Monitoring and Testing plans, and project plans for remediation of Compliances Global Key Focus Areas

Lead technology strategy for the global Compliance Training program Identify and implement system enhancements to the verification and learning management systems (Cornerstone OnDemand)

Assist in the implementation of Talent Development initiatives in coordination with LCD Head of People Initiatives and HR

Plan and execute complex, global projects and strategic initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree Advanced degree preferred

10 years of financial services experience, with knowledge of the global Banking industry and the global regulatory landscape

Highly versatile and self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal collaboration and team skills
