As an Associate Manager of Global Consumer Insights with a focus on Innovation for our businesses, you will work with your team to discover and create the future of our brands In this role you will lead the discovery of consumer, cultural, category, and competitive insights to identify opportunities and inspire brand strategy with a strong focus on innovation You will work as a part of a cross-functional innovation team to develop and refine total product offerings using Consumer First Design

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Listen and understand business challenges and develop learning plans that will deliver actionable insights specifically focused on Innovation
Work independently to design and implement research to uncover insights that drive business growth
Ensure learning experiences built create a realistic and balanced 3-year innovation pipeline
Design and implement research to uncover insights that drive business growth opportunities
Own learning activities and working that back into recommendations and strategies
Continue the learning journey post launch to perform early tracking and pivoting to improve product and experience
Manage several moderately complex projects concurrently
Identify the spaces to play, the consumer problems to solve and connect them to the right solution which you will help guide through development to launch and post launch learnings & pivots
Synthesize knowledge across many data sources to identify and communicate the most compelling insights that will lead to business growth
Be the voice of the consumer, ensuring that the entire cross-functional team is empowered to make consumer first decisions
Partner with Marketing to create the right size consumer support plan and campaign

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, or other related field
2-3 years of experience in Consumer Insights with foundational understanding of Innovation/experimentation/Consumer First Design
Experience working with interdependent cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic environment
Ability to synthesize data to build and tell a consumer story with credibility
Exhibits a bias for action
Adaptable can adapt to different needs, ask and objectives with little guidance; can help influence others to adapt as well
Successfully navigates ambiguity
Curious natural curiosity that leads to asking the right questions at the right times

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or Masters Degree in related field
Prior experience in management of research agency relationships
Expertise in a variety of traditional and modern qualitative and quantitative research techniques, specifically for innovation, communication, branding & packaging
