Job Description:

Giftiicon is an early stage start-up building Indias first instant social gifting app Unlike other players that primarily rely on gift cards and e-vouchers, Giftiicon provides an engaging, emotionally appealing online platform where users can send and receive specific products as gifts, or nudge their close ones for a specific gift, which could be redeemed at our partner brands outlets The aim of Giftiicon is to induce a habit of gifting among people and make it an alternative form of communication For its partner brands, Giftiicon benefits them by redirecting greater footfall at their outlets and help generate revenue profitably

Our Founder and CEO, Mr Nakkyun Chong, founded a similar company Gifticon in Korea in 2007 which has been a huge success and has over 20 mn active users today Giftiicon is the desi version customized to the Indian landscape

Were looking for smart people to form a high performing Business Development team

Roles & Responsibilities

- Acquisition of new partners (channel, strategic) by initiating, structuring, and negotiating high impact partnerships

- Manage and develop existing partnerships to maximize revenues and user experience and optimize costs

- Interact with partners to develop a combined strategy to achieve mutual goals

- Monitoring of the direction / nature of the partnership to take timely action

- Retention of key partners (for revenue, brand value, representation of industry segment, etc)

- Understanding brand partners marketing needs and help design ads, ultimately generating higher ad revenues

Traits of an ideal candidate

- Prior experience/knowledge in channel sales and building up a strategic partner ecosystem to drive growth and revenue for the organization

- Strong network in the e-commerce or retail space will be preferred

- Sound understanding of marketing programs, events and promotions

- Analytical capability to deal with technical, contractual, and financial aspects of the business

- Ability to think strategically and influence cross-functional teams

- Customer focused and a partner advocate

Qualification and background

- Education MBA from a top institute

- Experience level 1 to 6 years
