Job Description:

General Manager - F & B

The Company

- A diversified business group operating in Oman for over four decades with business interests spanning across Electronics, Appliances, Lighting, Telecommunications, Office Automation, Security, Medical, Instrumentation, Exchange Houses, Restaurants, Insurance & Logistics

- Planning and Budgeting the Food costs for all the F&B outlets

- Manage and ensure functions of Food Production and Stewarding operations leading to optimum quality levels of Food Production and Sanitation

- Work on special events and food promotions Make recipes and maintain up-dated and accurate costing Develop new dishes, menus and products

- Guest relations and feedback analysis with action plan

- Ensuring no wastage and pilferage takes place Indigenize and innovate systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction

- Analyze and organize operations with hands on practical approach and ensure subsequent training programs meet the related needs and standards

- Plan staffing needs and schedules / Training programs / maintain departmental standards and procedures and over see their implementation thus facilitating learning and development for all the staff members

- Guest relations- Up-sell and contribute towards repeat business

- Demonstrate and drive awareness of departmental policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered and conducted within the guide lines and ensure direct reporting of the same

- Ensure compliance to all concerned brand standards norms and that related information is percolated down to all required levels Ensure property safety, first aid kit availability, adherence and awareness of firefighting, emergency procedures and equipment safety guidelines
