SAP Business One (B1) and SAP Business by Design (ByD) are both affordable ERP solutions targeting small to medium sized enterprises around the world Both products are the top selling ERP product at SAP in their respective markets 70,000 customers in 120 countries

Working closely with the regional B1&ByD field organization, the Global Business Development Manager is supporting the overall sales activities globally and will be working very closely together with the Global head of SAP Business One and SAP Business by Design as well as all the regional leaders

The Global Business Development Manager SAP B1 & SAP ByD reports directly to the global head of B1&ByD


The role is a very diverse role with many different tasks An overview of that includes but is not limited to the below

Creating & Documenting global strategy scripts & presentations to unify messages to the market
Creating financial / statistical tools and reports using our current tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, C4C, Enterprise Analytics, Excel)
Follow up on agreed sales performance matrix (Global & Regional)
Communicating and providing information, both internally and externally, using appropriate methodology
Provide effective support to extended teams (Opps, LPE, Mkt, etc);
Analysing and interpreting sales / financial statistics and other data and produce relevant reports
Coordinating global / regional projects / initiatives (KPIs / project tracking)
Interpreting instructions and issues arising and then implementing actions according to SAP policies and procedures;
Researching and investigating information to enable strategic decision-making by management
Arranging and participating in meetings, conferences, and projecting team activities
Participate in work activities to roll-out best practices in regions
Structuring storylines for Global Leadership team meeting (alls hands etc);
Support and preparing in QBR, FKOM, Summits session(s) for Global Leadership team
Leading Global projects (in cooperation with regional Leadership teams)
Support in Global events (Innovation Summits, GPEC, Leadership meetings)
Reporting - reporting, tracking and tracing
Meeting preparations
(co-)develop strategy and growth plans
(co-)develop new propositions


Knowledgeable on the following areas

Software development process, software implementation
Project management
Marketing and sales concepts, demand generation support, pricing, pipeline management
Business and project risk management
Pre Knowledge of channel sales processes and ecosystem tactics for success
Organizational and program management skills, partner management
Ability to manage multiple priorities and to work effectively in an ecosystem environment with virtual teams
Should be able to explain complex issues to broad audiences and build consensus
Excellent oral and written communication skills both English Other language skills are a pre!
Feels comfortable working over the phone, e-mail, web-sharing, etc Good Microsoft Office knowledge
10 years experience in International IT
Knowledge of SAP operating procedures and systems are an additional asset
