About Workbench

- We are building a data platform product called Workbench wbfyndcom We believe that with the right people, we will continue to be a game-changer in the technology industry by connecting people (non-engineers) to data, easily and quickly using Workbench One of the features in Workbench, known as InstAPI allows creating an API in a matter of few clicks

- Our focus is on building a data platform for ingesting, processing, and integrating data sources for use in data analytics, including reporting, visualisation, and machine learning

- Our team maintains a number of projects written in Java and Python, but most new development is performed in Java using Spring framework

- We aim to develop our code to the highest software engineering standards using modern development practices like transducers, middle-ware design patterns, distributed tracing, etc

- We also make heavy use of AWS services like Lambda, ECS and others, as well as some other cloud-based services and open-source software frameworks like Apache Drill, Kafka and more

What we are looking for

Relationship Managers at Workbench are our main point of contact with our user community As a relationship manager, youll engage with our users one-on-one, but a large part of being an RM at Workbench is looking for ways to make sure that each time someone encounters an issue the whole community benefits from the solution Youl act as our eyes and ears and let us know what users are confused by, help us determine what should be added to the product and relay information from our user community Youll also write blog posts, scripts and other educational material so that the whole Workbench community can learn from what you discover

Responsibilities

- Offer email & chat support to global customers

- Understand user issues and help them realise the value of the product

- Collate user feedback, contribute to the knowledge base, and provide inputs to product team on a continuous basis

- Quickly develop a comprehensive understanding of the applications and infrastructure

- Stay informed of production changes that could affect functionality

- Ability to coordinate across teams, working closely with peers to ensure the appropriate focus and sense of urgency is applied to all issues

- Create and maintain Run-book & SOP content as and when needed

- Eyes-On-Glass monitoring, hosting bridge for incident Outages, Periodic Health checks on System performance and uptime

- Responding to e-mails, trouble tickets handling, run technical calls, monitoring alarms following established troubleshooting, escalation procedures and other metrics

About you

- At least 2+ years of experience in SaaS/B2B tech support

- Interested in helping people

- A systemic thinker

- Familiar with at-least one data analysis platform

- Bonus points for

- Knowing how to write SQL/No-SQL queries

- Fluency in multiple languages
