Job Description:

Talented, versatile hands on Functional Payments Expert, devising and delivering cutting edge innovative payments solutions Ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with strong awareness of the payments industry trend, bank processing, payment security and payment transaction models Business acumen, positive work ethics and a collaborative mind set are key to the success for this role The prospective candidate will be working with various cross functional groups (business, product, analytics, user experience design and engineering) and will require articulation, negotiation and influencing skills given the level of visibility Act as a bridge between business, product and implementation team The person is expected to be an able leader, a mentor and a peer with Thought leadership in designing future solutions and strategies for attaining them This role will be a combination of business development and client facing relationship management skills This role require a deep working knowledge of payments and solution selling

Mandatory- Good Communication Skills (Both verbal and written)
2 Mandatory- 5 years of relevant work experience (managed services, application support, application administration, Help Desk)
3 Desirable- Familiar with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project) with regards to documenting maintenance plans, reports, and / or procedures

Experience in Product development experience, in functional design, decomposition

UML modelling skills, ideally in Sparx Enterprise Architect

Possess domain and functional expertise on understanding business requirements from stakeholders

Proficiency in Business Analysis, Requirement Elicitation, Gap/Impact Analysis, Message/Data mapping, FAT Validation

Generating Business Requirement Document, Functional Specifications, Process Flow Diagrams, User Stories, Backlog etc

Possess Clear written and communication skills

Client facing skills with senior executives (client and internally)

Basic knowledge on technical aspects of software products/projects (interfaces, connectivity, databases, Application servers, Middleware, SOA, data warehousing, Archive / Purge)

Experience in Software life cycle (SDLC)

Payments knowledge and experience

Experience in Payments related software development projects or products

Proficiency in SWIFT, SWIFT GPI, NACHA, CHAPS

Working experience with Clearing & Settlement Systems in Europe, Canada, US

Working experience with at least two Clearing systems in different countries

Working experience with product / project implementation in medium or large scale banks

Beneficial

SWIFT service bureau knowledge will be preferable

Product roadmap activities and DevOps strategies

Site implementation experience of any popular payment products (Fundtech, clear2Pay)

Experience talking in external forums/conferences etc is a plus

Experience of working with Agile methodology

1 Customer facing and responsible to Promptly and professionally answer incoming calls / emails, determine the caller needs, answer general inquiries and / or gather appropriate information to timely resolve the service request and document them in ticketing tool
2 Accurately document the situation, and if applicable, initiate and follow the appropriate workflow when the issue needs additional assistance to reach resolution
3 Work with client and client assigned personnel in the resolution of functional request while providing the resolution according to agree upon service levels
4 Stay informed of application status and all dependencies that may affect applications front-end user experience
5 Keep and maintain accurate documentation of all functional and operational service requests to make sure all service levels are supported and justified with metrics
6 Support user administration and assist with release management
7 The person should have very good experience with regards to reviewing and responding to client service requests while working closely with internal teams to address these requests
8 Perform the Functionally Analysis, Replication/Testing of issue raised in CGI environment
9 Respond back to client with outcome of Functional Analysis, co-ordinate with Technical Support Analyst for any environment related issues or Application Support Team for any application related issues
10 Report Generation from Ticketing Tool, Metrics Collection
11 The person should be a team player, be able to work independently, be highly motivated and possess good communications skills with regards to interacting with various cross-functional team members and in writing maintenance support documents
12 Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types and understand functional and technical issues
