Execute all assigned daily duties activities of operating and maintaining the fuel dispensing systems, trucks, and equipment used to support bulk, fixed and mobile fuel retail operations in support of the KBOSSS Contract


Oversees a deverse workforce of Foreign national personnel in the operation of fuel systems and equipment, as well as the receipt, storage, issue, quality surveilace and accounting of all petroleum products in the assigned area of operations inventory
Participate in planning of short and long-term mission requirements in terms of the operational readiness of all bulk fuel transporters, Bulk Storage and retail equipment
Assists in assuring all facility and equipment are full mission capable reports all none mission capable if necessarily affected customer base of any deficiencies that could prevent the accomplishment of the assigned day-to-day or contingency mission
Prepares schedule for deliveries and reciepts of Class III fuel products to ensure normal and contingency levels are maintained
Reviews and verifies receiving documents on all incoming shipments of fuel from OCO (DLA) or AIK depots
Reviews and evaluates statistical operational data for favorable or unfavorable trends in the logistical management of fuels
Reviews incoming correspondence, which is a directive in nature, determines required response and or complies with and ensure implementation of policies or standards, which comes down from the Chain of Supervision
Assist the supervisor in the development and implement internal work instructions, policies, fuel support plans and procedures not covered by ATP 4-43 or governmental fuel regulations
Assists in enforcement of the Fuel Quality surveillance program for each product to ensure the quality, operational effectiveness
Guide and trains personnel in safety and environmental procedures and practices implemented within the assigned area of responsibility
Takes decisive action to eliminate unsafe conditions
Performs other duties as assigned

M978 2,500 Gallon Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT)
Anton Paar Digital Density Meter / Gammon API and Millipore (Sampling and Gauging Kit)
300 GPM Centrifugal Fuel Transfer pump and various fuel dispensing equipment
Commercial Fuel tankers ranging in capacity from 4,000 to 9,511 gallons


Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (ie, hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months) Include exposure to Chemical Hazards (Fuel Vapors/Fumes)


Must be physically capable of lifting 70 pounds a vertical distance of four feet and carrying

this weight a horizontal distance of 25 feet

May be required to work an uncommon schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Must be able to work extended hours and evenings, as mission requires
Must have professional appearance
Required to observe all safety, security, fire, and health requirements for office, warehouse, and outside environment Working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical (Fuel Vapors/Fumes) or biological agents
Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices
May Require repetitive motions of entering and exiting of fuel tankers
Must possess normal color vision and depth perception and normal hearing ranges
Requires working from heights, and climbing ladders



Education/Certifications One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if the degree is required

High school diploma or equivalent is required


Four (4) years experience working in Military Petroleum Operations required


Must be able to operate petroleum distribution equipment and road tankers
Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and storage requirements to meet compatibility of products based on hazard class is required
Knowledge of petroleum equipment, trouble shooting, and repair is required
Knowledge of petroleum sources sampling is required
Must be able to understand test results from approved laboratory
Leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor, are required
Strong interpersonal skills are required
Ability to exercise discretion and good judgement is required
Ability to prioritized responsibilities to handle a demanding workload is required
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is required
Advance ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written form is required
High-level organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed and accurate is required
Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and ALL Microsoft applications is required


A valid drivers license and the ability to obtain a US Government Motor Vehicle Operators License and Kuwait Drivers License are required
Must be able to maintain USG Network access & CAC card privilege(s)
