Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Receive cargo and load container and flat racks safely



  • Assist Suppliers/Truckers in properly receiving, inspecting and storing their cargo



  • Receive and review all paperwork for incoming cargo, Ensure it matches shipper’s labels



  • Make initial Dock Receipt (Dirty) Entry to include measurements, cargo conditions and note any discrepancy with documents handed over by truckerBundles, pallets, pieces, exact count and description of cargo in notes



  • Take and Record Measurements and Weights on D/R



  • Take pictures of cargo received



  • Properly Label all items / Pallets received / and follow company protocol for storing the cargo to include scanning location and weight consideration for level used on racks



  • For Appliances, ensure they are strapped prior to storing



  • Sign Truckers B/L’s and have Truckers countersign our D/R, ensure both documents have same information pertaining to count of good



  • Conduct trans-loads as needed
