FlashShip Inventory Analyst Are you looking for a new challenge Do you enjoy working with purchasing and operations Maybe a role as an Inventory Analyst with ASSA ABLOY is the role for you

Located in Berlin, Connecticut, this role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of a team of Supply Chain professionals supporting ASSA ABLOY brands This role will provide a premier level of service to our customers with optimal levels of inventory by collaborating with our internal partners to purchase SKU based items

This position is responsible for the purchase of Finished Goods (SKU based) and other maintenance and operating supplies

Responsibilities

Procure materials and supplies as established by production requirements

Work closely with department Buyer Planners and factory floor to ensure parts availability for daily production

Prepare necessary purchase orders and documentation to ensure required material and services are provided as required

Analyze planning and manufacturing product schedules to ensure customer orders are delivered on time

Develop supplier relationships that provide new ideas, solutions, and resources

Conduct daily inventory analysis to identify variances caused by inventory data integrity

Assist with the coordination and management of daily physical cycle counts

Perform root cause and corrective action analysis of all inventory discrepancies

Process all inventory adjustments, variances and transfer transactions

Evaluate current inventories for excess and obsolete items and coordinate with various functions to resolve issues

Compile information and produce reports as required

Oversee new warehouse onboarding and inventory procurement

Drive cost savings through shipment consolidation process improvements across ASSA ABLOY partner companies

Optimize purchased parts inventory at each site location

Implement inventory for new product additions w/ forecasts from Marketing/Sales & PDM groups

Identify and improve MRP utilization

Develop and track KPIs/Metrics for OFR for each location

Troubleshoot and reconcile relevant accounts receivable issues

Coordinate monthly team communications for performance overview at each site

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Business Administration or related field preferred

Experience with MRP system, preferably JDE

Experience with LEAN principles and application

At least 3-5 years of supply management experience in a high volume factory environment, with proven negotiation skills

Good communications skills

Self-starter

Analytical and problem solving skills

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Powerpoint

High energy
