Financial Reporting Group Manager EMEA Regional Process Lead (RPL)

Finance and Risk Shared Services (FRSS) is seeking a experienced Treasury professional whose core responsibility will be to lead, manage and coordinate the production and analytics area supporting EMEA Liquidity Risk Reporting This position will work closely with the Treasury Reporting Global Process Lead and the other center RPLs to ensure that liquidity reporting areas align with agreed upon business success criteria This will also incude the internal Treasury management, intergration of new reporting requirements, metrics and optimization of exisiting capabilities based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) trends The role consist of leading the Mumbai Liquidity Reporting team supporting EMEA The role will require a combination of experience in Liquidity reporting/Regulatory reporting and Project Management,since it will require working with Business Analysts, Technology team to provide requirement for a global and local reporting supporting both internal and external metrics

The position will also work closely with country and regional Corporate Treasurers, Global Liquidity Management (GLM), Independent Market Risk Management, Finance/Product Control, and Financial Risk Infrastructure (FRI) teamsThe position also would provide oversight of the monitoring and forecasting the short term and long term liquidity needs as well as analyzing the groups structural liquidity and its impact on the organizations aggregate position

The objective of this position is to manage daily production of Liquidity and Interest rate Risk reports for EMEA region, improve the Treasury reporting quality and accuracy, improve process efficiency by deploying relevant technology, and develop talent pool to lead related treasury initiatives The candidate will develop an understanding of the business dynamics and funding strategies that result in liquidity risk as well as the related policies and measures of liquidity risk under business as usual and stressed conditions In addition, the individual will develop intimate knowledge of the underlying data requirements for liquidity reporting and associated data sources and systems Position would suit a highly motivated Treasury professional with experience in liquidity reporting operation and prior staff management experience

The position will partner closely with the Transformation Leads to drive the transformation actions impacting the relevant global and regional processes Key success factor will be this positions oversight of the Liquidity Risk internal reporting ensuring completeness, timeliness and accuracy

Description/Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

Lead and manage the Mumbai Liquidity Reporting team supporting EMEA
Increase effectiveness of the overall Treasury Reporting processes and reports
Develop a thorough understanding of data sourcing for all liquidity management reporting Understand the overlaps in data requirements between reports / process and ensure that the data sourcing is the same or that controls are in place to ensure that data is consistent and accurate
Consult with members of the Treasury, Business Treasurers and Independent Market Risk to assess the reasonability and completeness of the assumptions and final analysis used to produce the results sent out by the Mumbai Treasury Reporting team
Assist with the work necessary to standardise the liquidity risk management and monitoring framework Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Mumbai and workstream participant on data acquisition, systems architecture and analytical tools for the current development of the next generation of daily, weekly and monthly liquidity analytics for EMEA liquidity requirements
Develop processes and procedures for assigned business segment reporting Lead change management for the business segment by participating with members of the various disciplines to identify ways to streamline and automate process flows in order to create more accurate and timely results, as well as improving efficiency
Lead and manage a team of managers and analysts, providing mentoring and oversight
Drive employtee engagement to the next level by actively supporting VOE and other employee inititives
Embed a strong controls culture in the area and ensure a state of permanent audit readiness

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a BS or BA and 10 years work experience in finance or accounting or a related control discipline (eg Treasury Reporting, Risk Management, Financial Control, Audit, etc)

Management experience of 10 years

Must possess strong knowledge of balance sheet composition

Must possess knowledge of system workflows, front-end and management reporting application systems, and knowledge in the utilization of database technology

Treasury operations experience including asset and liability management is a plus

Project management experience is a plus

Ability to understand and follow the strategic direction charted by the Global Process Lead Treasury Reporting

Attention to detail and accuracy are essential

An understanding of the business dynamics and drivers that impact Citis funding needs and liquidity risks is a positve attribute for success in this position

Excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization
