You will
- Collaborate with the Business Units to ensure correct book-keeping and manage stakeholder relationships
- Oversee the cost pool analyses and controlling of supported divisions costs during month-end close
- Supervise daily operation of accounting team, and support the development of the direct reports
- Overview the preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss account reconciliations for internal and external audit purposes
- Challenge existing ways of working and develop a continuous improvement culture
- Participate in global projects, optimization of current processes and standardization of processes across regions

Team Profile Global Corporate Controllers department is responsible for Morgan Stanleys financial records, ensuring that the assets and liabilities of the Firm are properly controlled, and providing accurate and timely financial information both to senior management and externally to statutory and regulatory bodies The Budapest team is a vital part of the global operations, representing more than 80 PERCENT of the team globally

Qualifications

You have
- University degree (BSc or BA) preferably in accounting, finance, or related disciplines
- Min 6-7 years of accounting or financial reporting related work experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Self-motivated personality with high standards for quality of work and accuracy
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Proactive attitude, proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
