Finance Manager - Capex Reporting and Balance Sheet

Why this role matters

This role will be responsible for the consolidation, control and challenge around the Enterprise cash and balance sheet reporting They will communicate accurate Enterprise capex and balance sheet reporting and plans for Enterprise & Group whilst meeting compliance requirements needed

What youll be doing

Deliver balance sheet and capex reporting for Enterprise (actuals and forecast)
Assess and challenge unit balance sheets Develop and undertake rolling deep dives to improve rigour over balance sheet reporting
Manage and report on asset life review and asset verification programme on behalf of Enterprise, in line with Group requirements
Act as a key contact with Group and other Customer Facing Units for all matters relating to Enterprises capex and fixed asset reporting
Ensure appropriate controls are in place that meet audit standard
Act as a key contact for external and internal auditors

Accounting Leverages knowledge from multiple functional areas and anticipates impact of future requirements Understands and consistently applies an advanced knowledge and understanding of company financial statements, accounting principles

Controls, Compliance and Risk Mitigates and remediates gaps in controls through addressing control weaknesses, recommending alternatives and developing approaches to mitigate Defines specific control project scope and approach, and plans and completes controls advisory projects for financial systems and functions

Forecasting, Planning and Budgeting Oversees and reviews forecast/budget at detailed level, demonstrating an understanding of their inter-relationship Provides detailed feedback and insight to the business on its financial performance

Finance Processes Recommends and implements efficiency and effectiveness measures

Qualified accountant (mandatory)
Strong excel skills (mandatory)
Financial reporting experience (mandatory) to external reporting/senior leadership standard (preferred)
