Field Service / Asset Management Solutions Sales Consultant

A Field Service / Asset Management Sales Consultant will work closely with the EMEA Utility Global Business Units sales team to understand customers business requirements and identify an appropriate and compelling solution set of Oracle Utility products that address their needs They employ a consultative selling style, are professionally mature, work collaboratively in a team environment, and take the initiative to ensure customers make an Oracle product selection

Position Description

The Sales Consultant role will be focused on providing functional expertise in field service and/or work and asset management solutions Multi-product sales consulting experience is a plus This resource will work directly with the sales team to understand the clients needs and match them to Oracle Utilities applications As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions Creates compelling customised responses to RFx Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales consulting process Advises internal and external clients on overall solution

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools Ability to implement basic product features Knowledge of system and application design In depth knowledge of competitors Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication Ability to travel as needed A university degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable Multi-lingual is a preference
