Regional Sales Manager

Job summary

- EXFO is seeking a highly dynamic, Customer driven individual reporting to the Country Sales Director- India & SAARC region You will execute and drive the Sales Strategies in assigned territories

What youll do

- Responsible for the development and growth of EXFO business (Test & Measurement & Systems/Service Assurance portfolio), in India and South Asia region

- Lead, maintain and establish the relationship with channel partners and/or customers and key accounts

- Executing Overall Region Sales and managing Partners/Channels

- Executing Country Marketing Plans

- Manage and grow Sales Pipeline and ownership of all sales resources and database

What were looking for

Technical skills

- Knowledge of telecommunications networks and associated communications technologies eg IP in a carrier environment, MPLS, 2/3/4G RAN, optical transport technologies, carrier ethernet, etc

- Domain knowledge of OSS/BSS, Service Assurance, NFV/SDN, NOC/ SOC Operations etc

- Knowledge in Fiber Optic Testing, PON, MPLS/IPVPN/Ethernet Technologies, DWDM

Some experience and familiarity with

- Large, complex data intensive environments with a heterogeneous system infrastructure

Required aptitudes

- Experience in proposing telecommunications solutions to Telecom Service Provider

- Ability to work independently, taking ownership of responsibilities

- Demonstrated successful track record in working with Telecom Service Providers in India & South Asia in a Sales Environment

- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute a growth plan whether individually or for a team & should have met Quota consistently over last 3 years or more

- Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills

- Good understanding and knowledge of India & South Asia telecom trends and technology movements

- Strong planning and organizational skills is a must

- Demonstrated ability in managing complex sales process

- Familiarity with Sr Management staff of Tier1 Telecom Operators, Equipment Manufacturers, Webscale companies, System Integrators, Enterprise Network Operators etc

- Possess winning attitude ie being Open Minded, Open Communications, Self Driven, Result Oriented and Team Player

Must have

Pertinent experience

- Minimum 10 years experience in sales development/account management/channel sales in a high tech environment

Language requirements

- English Both Written and Spoken

Education

- University degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or an appropriate field Business degree an asset
