Job Description

This role reports directly to the Compensation Lead, Executive Compensation, and as such shall provide support to the compensation team, including the SVP, Total Rewards, for the long-term incentive plans and all matters related to executive compensation

Tasks & Responsibilities

Participate to the delivery of the SNC-Lavalin long-term incentive plans schemes
Develop and maintains all documentation related to the management of the long-term incentive plans
Participate in developing and creating engaging communication material to participants and leaders on the long-term incentive schemes grant and vesting letters, brochure, Plan Text, etc
Works closely with the Finance department to deliver forecasting and budgeting information, relating to long-term incentive plans
Support with the preparation of all materials required for the Human Resources Committee of the Board of Directors
Support executive benchmarking exercises for our most senior Executive level staff
Draft the annual proxy circular, executive contract agreement and share ownership requirement statements
Respond to different queries by providing analytical support and drafting presentations that support the analysis
Participate in various compensation projects to review and evolve current long-term incentive plans, policies, and/or guidelines
Develops effective working relationships with various internal and external resources (including legal, corporate finance, payroll, tax, benefits, company secretariat etc) to ensure that all actions, plans and programs pertaining to executive compensation comply with internal corporate governance guidelines and external regulatory requirements

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Actuarial or other related filed
Three to five years of HR experience whereby two years are within compensation (experience in executive compensation or share based plans would be an asset)
Strong analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team-driven environment as well as in an autonomous manner
Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously in a fast-changing environment
Proficiency in Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills; (French and English)
