Software Training and Support Executive

Looking for candidates preferably with minimum 1 year of experience in Software development, training or support

Candidate will work closely with software developers and users to provide face-to-face/online training and L1/L2 support in desktop/web-based applications and software to the clients from Maritime Industry

Client L1/L2 Support tasks include, but are not limited to, attending Client calls remotely, guiding users in their queries using Skype/Teamviewer, relevant training, proposing customizations in the ERP, documenting client change-requests Support will be provided by clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner

Candidate will also be involved in software testing, to enable him to quickly learn and vet the software modules

Responsibilities

- Delivering new and existing user training relating to Ship Management Software / Marine ERP

- Develop training contents, as necessary, with relevant IT knowledge

- Develop training documents like Trainee Feedback, FAQs, Dos and Don- ts, user guides, whats new

- Support user enquires on the use of software via phone / email / Skype / remote assistance as needed and in a timely manner

- Able to answer end-user questions

- Need to help in software configuration, troubleshooting, and provide software support to the end users by working along with software development team

- Diagnose and resolve all technical issues Leverage technical skills to analyze system configuration, logs, database contents and source code to aid in defect resolution

- Document all support issues in support log and maintain various records and a knowledgebase from the support calls received and answered

- Ensure fast response and improved user experience to the software users and ensure proper follow-up on user issues

- Contribute ideas on ways to resolve problems to better serve the users and / or improve productivity

- Update clients on powerful features and new additions to the software, the latest promotion, discounts and campaigns etc about the product and services

- Represent eNix in a professional and courteous manner (verbal, written and in appearance) when interacting with clients

- Maintaining good client relationships

- Learn and understand all business process flows created within the software

- Maintains updates to documentation of all user reference material on process flows

Qualifications & Requirements

1 Possess a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, IT or similar discipline

2 Additional training qualifications can also be advantageous

3 Prior experience of delivering training / support in Marine Software

4 Personality and aptitude may be regarded as being equally important

5 Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Language

6 Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks

7 Good presentation skills

8 Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task

9 Software savvy, software product explorer and going to the root of the problem reported for giving the solution

10 Maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work within the company and a favorable image of the company

11 Ability to work independently Highly accountable to timelines and schedule management

12 Remain flexible on changing schedules

13 Willing to travel overseas for training sessions

14 Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities

15 Analytical & technical skills
