Position Description

This role is responsible for design, creation and maintenance of analytics & reporting solutions as required to support the Transformation Office and Marketing & Technology (M&T) This will involve several environments including a Project and Portfolio Management environment (Planview) with Microsoft SSRS and Power BI, and a Business Process Mapping environment (Software AG - ARIS) with JavaScript

Responsible for building, testing and maintaining reporting solutions to meet the business requirements

Principal Accountabilities

Resolve end-user reporting problems through collaboration with Planview Administration Team as required

Develop, implement, deploy reporting solutions

Ensure results are consistent, reliable and accurate through aggressive testing and quality control

Manage on-demand (ad-hoc) requests

Ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time

Work within an enthusiastic team to further refine our project management capabilities, processes and tools

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

EDUCATION Bachelors degree in a technical field such as engineering or computer science is preferred; a diploma in a technical field such as computer science is required as a minimum

Process & Project Management KnowledgeAble to interact with senior members of the user community with strong analytical skills to capture needs and translate into a common set of business requirements

Technical KnowledgeData modeling, Microsoft Report Services (SSRS, Power BI), JavaScript, relational data base, and preferably SQL server

Experience in SharePoint website development is a plus

ExperienceAt least three years in a technical role related to business intelligence, with strong capabilities in SQL Server and data architectureRequired proficiency in Excel

Excellent interpersonal and people skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented

Possess above average analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects

Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle

Preferences

Responsible for building, testing and maintaining reporting solutions to meet the business requirements
