What youll do at Provide consultative and strategic eDiscovery services to support Walmarts investigation and litigation case objectives and related support activities at the request and direction of counsel, including document retrieval and advisement on case execution activities based on knowledge of Walmarts ESI Coordinate and oversee incoming discovery requests; balance workload amongst team members; perform case review; manage financial and staff resources to support projects; perform supervisory activities to effectively manage resource performance; coach and mentor team members Advise on and work directly with counsel and case team to architect solutions for complex ESI or discovery challenges Partner with external service providers to achieve case outcomes and follow best practices; exemplary written and oral communication skills; drive proactive collaboration and the sharing of ideas across team members and departments Leverage metrics and KPIs to measurably improve performance and turnaround times Effectively remediate performance issues; advise on resolution to concerns raised by team members; provide critical feedback and broker discussions focused on improving individual or team performance Identify and remove barriers and obstacles that impact team execution on projects; document risks and related contingency plans Certification or proficiency in legal technology tools used for discovery case management, data export and retrieval tasks, data processing, early case assessment culling, text and content analytics, review workflows, and production quality control Establish, maintain, and continually refresh discovery related documentation for the program; review and advise on changes to processes Define case management standards and measure accordingly; identify and address improvement opportunities with urgency Lead training and awareness related initiatives for program; communicate and train team members on updates or changes to eDiscovery standards and practices Drives informed decision-making and ensures resolution of critical issues by partnering with senior leaders to identify goals, success criteria, assumptions, risks, and known issues within the business; identifying potential risk; creating communication strategy and content; educating sponsors, stakeholders, and executive leadership on program requirements; and developing and implementing a program management life cycle Directs the prioritization, scoping, evaluation, and feasibility assessment of multiple, competing, and enterprise-wide projects by directing program and project managers in the selection and facilitation of a cross-functional team of stakeholders; communicating goals, objectives, and priorities of the department to key business stakeholders; and influencing departmental strategic plans Directs program management process improvement by overseeing gap analyses; evaluating and determining practicality of improvement opportunities; developing improved processes based on best practices and standards; ensuring alignment of process improvement with department and company strategy; providing guidance to project leads on process improvement; gaining buy-in and approval from leadership on process improvements; and overseeing the implementation of processes Oversees program performance by reviewing projections compared to actual results; identifying key performance indicators and trend data; guiding return-on-investment analyses; reviewing customer response and feedback from key stakeholders; addressing cross-functional program and project issues; collaborating with teams across the company to leverage processes in order to increase service and product capabilities Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs; developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices; analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; determining and supporting resource requirements; evaluating operational processes; measuring outcomes to ensure desired results; identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; promoting a customer environment; and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives;
