Job profile summary The Greater Prudhoe Bay (GPB) Unit one of the largest oil fields in North America is an amalgamation of multiple mature oil pools on the North Slope of Alaska centered on the giant Prudhoe Bay field BP is the operator with 26 PERCENT working interest ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil each hold 36 PERCENT and Chevron holds 1 PERCENT To date 135 billion barrels gross of primary light oil have been produced with remaining proved recovery projected to add an additional 15 billion barrels gross BP operates ~1600 wells, 47 gravels drill sites, 7 primary processing centers, 2 gas plants and 2 seawater plants Facilities handle daily production of about 8bcf formation gas, 11mmbbls of water and 270mobd of oil in 2018The East Area Manager is responsible for Overall development and production from three Flow Stations in the East Area of the field plus the Lisburne Production Center, and for the Functional delivery of the Base Management and New Well Delivery agendas Managing three East Area Teams to implement the GPB Area Development Plan (ADP) and to ensure effective and efficient implementation of reservoir area development and depletion plans Functional delivery of the Base Management and New Well Delivery agendas to deliver safe and efficient production delivery from the BPXA Proved Developed resource base, and to drive resource progression and the 8Q drilling schedule across BPXA Working with other members of the Resource Development Leadership Team to foster an energized environment of good multifunctional team working, technical excellence, and innovation Working closely with counterpart managers in the Global Wells Organization, Global Operations Organization, and Finance to maintain cross-functional alignment on Alaska business objectives and work programs

Safety and Compliance Promote and exhibit a strong safety culture in support of BP Global and BP Alaskas stated safety objectives Strive for no incidents in area of influence
Recognize the HSE of all work; communicate risks and mitigations as appropriate to possible stakeholders
Support the GOO Control of Work agenda by maintaining good 8Q work programs
Foster usage of the IRIS safety input program by RD
Ensure State reporting activities (Annual Surveillance Reports and Plans of Development) are delivered as per State regulations for the East Area Foster a good working relationship with State agencies

Production and Reservoir Management Drive delivery of overall GPB production targets, and foster ownership and delivery of East Area production targets by aligned RD and GOO Area teams
Ensure efficient delivery of PD resources consistent with the ADP and the near-term elements of the GPB depletion plan
Ensure reservoir decline, area VRR, GOR and reservoir pressures are maintained consistent with depletion plan and strategy
Drive regular integration of RD, GOO, and GWO teams or other teams to execute depletion plan; develop strong connectivity with Town and Field AOMs & East OSMs
Secure resources (people, skills and funding) to deliver East Area activities
Represent the East Area in all management meetings; build and maintain a strong working relationship with the East Area Team Leaders and feed their input into such meetings

Base Management Establish Base Management priorities, and work with GWO to establish annual targets for Wellwork wedge delivery and budget
Drive consistent approaches to Base Management across the GPB area teams, ensuring that the best work is prioritized and executed regardless of team
Shape and deliver expense and small capital (non-drilling) rate adding activity Ensure a healthy and prioritized Options hopper is maintained, and that the best options are progressed to provide a healthy backlog of execution-ready work to support efficient GWO execution
