Job Description:

Part of global Total Reward CoE - should be expert in job evaluation, market pricing, process transitions / migrations, annual salary and incentive process design and implementation

- Prefer people who have done more regions than India alone, who have handled large employee base (30K plus) at some point, who are conversant with more than one HRIS platforms (SAP, Workday, etc), have worked with all known market pricing vendors but at least Mercer, Aon Hewitt, Radford, Willis Towers Watson, have worked on both manual and online comp planning tools, and are conversant with IT industry jobs

Prefer full-time residential MBA from XLRI, TISS, MDI, XIMB, SIBM, SCMHRD

- Should have minimum 9 years HR and 6 years compensation experience

- Ideal profile would have worked with both consultants (Mercer, Aon Hewitt, Towers) and corporates (American MNCs preferred) People having worked only with consultants will not be suitable, but people having worked only corporate can be considered

- Develops, implements and administers compensation programs Performs more complex job and salary analyses to evaluate and determine internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance of the units pay practices Serves as an internal consultant to management regarding compensation policies, programs and issues

- Designs, implements and administers variable compensation programs such as incentive compensation, bonus plans or sales compensation

- May be assigned to one or more operating units as a service delivery liaison (SDL) or alternatively lead a project team within Compensation Understands internal desktop tools and systems required to perform job duties, recommends revisions and/or new tools Performs requirements analysis or tool development Develops and documents processes

Essential Job Functions

- Serves as a compensation consultant to management regarding compensation policies, programs and issues May be a team lead for a practice area or unit within Compensation

- Performs more complex analyses of jobs, wages, salaries and organizational structures to evaluate and ensure internal equity, external competitiveness and legal compliance of the units pay practices Recommends and implements changes to salary ranges, budgets and/or policies Considers internal and external factors and overall strategic plan

- Designs and recommends variable compensation programs such as bonus plans, incentive compensation and sales compensation to management to meet the needs of the business unit and/or organization

- Ensures plans are competitive while within the budgetary constraints and overall compensation strategy of the organization

- Participates in the annual performance review and merit increase process

- Develops program materials and counsels unit management on distribution of dollars based on performance reviews and addresses compensation related concerns

- Reviews recommended salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices Approves and processes adjustments within established level of approval May support tier two help desk

- Oversees and/or prepares compensation reports, programs and other initiatives and presents findings/recommendations to management

- Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action

- Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel
