Funding

April 2016 $12 million was raised as seed funding from Facebooks angel investors Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, along with Japanese Venture Capital firm Rebright Partners

Dec 2017 We then raised $72 million during Series A round of funding from Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Japanese investors Techmatrix Corporation and DeNa networks Existing angel investors Anand Rajaraman, Venky Harinarayanan, and Japanese VC Rebright partners also participated in this round

Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for developing Digital strategy keeping consumer in the centre and drive the internal communication channels and Media Productivity agenda, in alignment with the overall Company strategy

- Responsible for managing entire digital journey for DocsApp, keeping consumer at the centre

- Leading SEO, ASO ( Owned) and all the paid media channels

- Being part of the marketing team partnering with Revenue management and Category teams to develop the annual digital strategy and roadmap for categories, aligning with Senior Management, Category teams & Media agency

- Identify resources, competitive environment, possible partners, opportunity areas, etc- and together with the Marketing Director propose the media plans and KPIs to ensure we build suitable media amplifiers and platforms

- Support the Media Capability agenda with the categories and Marketing team, both on the specific capability sessions, but mainly during the ongoing day by day work with the teams

- Partner with business finance team & revenue management and growth team to agree common measurement approach including scorecards, tools for ROI & equity measurement using relevant KPIs and benchmarks Collaborating to define target digital share of media based on econometric modelling meta-learnings and category recommendations

- Stay current on the strategic Media landscape (consumers, competitors, media channels, etc) and share this information with key stakeholders

- Orchestrate the media planning, buying and content launches for all Categories Deliver clear reviews of activity performance vs plan and define future recommendations to optimise / improve media performance

- Support the Marketing head to benchmark & negotiate Media Agency fees, A&M budget management to agency talent management - inline with Smart Spend policies & savings objectives

- Drive the Media Productivity agenda - YOY Savings- to ensure Docsapp is at an advantaged from a media cost perspective

- Develop and execute the Media Buying AOP, in collaboration with Media Agency and develop Media JBPs with key partners and drive cost efficiencies for yearly media plans

- Collaborate effectively with the finance, legal and procurement teams to get the MSAs and payment processed for all vendors and agency partners

Key Skills/Experience Required

- Identify any differentiating expertise required for success in the role

- Experience of 5+ years in the field of digital ie in Owned and Paid media

- Media Knowledge- Deep understanding of Media Planning & media buying across all platforms

- Deep understanding of digital technologies, programmatic platforms, digital benchmarks

- Deep understanding of brand safety, ad fraud, viewability technologies and partnerships

- Organization and contract negotiations Skills

- Understanding of consumer and Media trends

- Marketing and Branding Understanding

- Know how to work with agencies and agents

- Good knowledge of media platforms and media content
