Job Summary

The Opportunity

The Director of Business Systems will be responsible for managing, coaching and guiding systems administrators, analysts and developers to deliver system improvements for multiple internal stakeholders including Sales, Pre-sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales Operations Primary responsibilities include managing systems and infrastructure necessary for the global Sales and Marketing organization to operate efficiently and effectively Your team works closely with business stakeholders to define business processes and requirements, and to project manage Sales solution evaluations by identifying, selecting, implementing, and administering business technologies that enable the organization to grow efficiently

What Youll Contribute

Collaborate with other functional leaders to define the strategy for maturing global sales processes, systems and insights to improve and streamline global sales productivity
Partner with multiple, cross-department business stakeholders as well as with internal IT counterparts to drive the execution of process and system improvements leveraging existing enterprise-wide key systems (eg Salesforce, Pardot and Oracle) as well as Sales tools (Xactly)
Design and own the data maturity model, solution infrastructure and roadmap for capturing, governing and leveraging sales data for sales execution
Develop the vision for the Business Systems team, including career paths for individual contributors as well as hiring additional headcount to meet delivery needs
Create and implement agile development standards and methodologies for requirements intake, scoping work, creating user stories and validating business requirements have been met Manage team performance through sprint methodologies and work velocity measurement
Serve as subject matter expert on all Sales solutions and data integrations, challenging the soundness of the data models as well as the technical design of data structures
Take the lead in working with internal and external stakeholders on requirements gathering, scoping and thorough testing to attain a win-win design that meets business requirements
Provide guidance and serve as the point of escalation for complex data and system issues including formulating a plan to analyze, identify, test and resolve operational concerns
Develop training materials and train business users on how best to leverage the business technologies to complete their work
Coach and guide the Business Systems team by setting clear and appropriate expectations through project prioritization, level of effort scoping and business impact evaluation
Deliver highly complex projects that have been well-tested and are supportable/maintainable

What Were Seeking

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5 years of experience in business process, data management and systems administration
2 years managing business analyst and systems administrator teams
Experience leading system changes in Salesforce and data services tools in a production role
Integration middleware experience Informatica or similar data transfer tools is a plus
Experience managing multiple, concurrent and possibly conflicting intra- as well as inter-department demands while driving and maintaining project execution and focus
Excellent communication skills with ability to drive and lead meetings around business systems and/or related topics as well as efficiently and effectively communicate with cross functional partners from highly technical to business-oriented
Experience analyzing and presenting data and information to senior stakeholders
Salesforce certified
