The Flights platform supports more than 40 million transactions per year The team openly embraces experimenting with new technologies while keeping a healthy balance between short- and long-term goals With our microservices architecture in AWS using EC2, S3 and ECS services you will be working on enhancing customer experience, developing features and services, and pushing the boundaries on platform performance and capabilities

What you will do

  • Create product vision/thesis statements, priorities, roadmaps, goals/metrics, and roll-out strategy

  • Fully align and share accountability for the Flights business goals as part of the Flights Leadership team

  • Work closely with Supply, Engineering and Design teams to curate requirements and implement solutions

  • Support delivery teams through user stories, manage project execution, A/B testing, UI/UX wireframing

  • Understand/evaluate inputs to strategy competitive landscape, market opportunities, consumer/partner/supplier feedback/insights, emerging businesses and cross-functional ideation

  • Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization and present priorities, roadmap, and key learning

  • Clearly communicate organizations objectives and ensure alignment across account management, product and technology (in addition to other dependent teams) to ensure delivery of these objectives

  • Frequent interaction with external partners such as airlines and Connectivity providers and internal partners such as marketing, retail and call center teams to understand and guide the end to end view of the Flights business

  • Responsible for articulating product solutions that meet organizational objectives and also ensure the acquisition and retention of key partners

  • Recognize when organization and partner priorities conflict and use the proper data to influence the way forward

  • Ensure product prioritization and associated resourcing is focused on the right initiatives This is based on

  • Organization / company objectives

  • Analytics and metrics

  • Partnership goals

  • Servicing, platform and other cost-reduction goals

Who you are

  • You have 10+ years relevant experience

  • You have demonstrated growth mindset You have the curiosity, humility and learning agility to continuously learn & grow from all experiences and feedback, constantly and enthusiastically looking for opportunities to grow and improve the business, and yourself

  • You welcome robust challenge and seek insights from others to improve your own learning and understanding

  • You are talented in strong relationship building, able to navigate through situations to ensure the most robust and pragmatic solutions

  • You have strong products and engineering background, efficient in developing a product plan, executing on it, and delivering commercial value to meet the market demand

  • Proven, hands-on experience leading multiple successful product launches in a fast-paced environment

  • Disciplined approach to prioritization and stakeholder management

  • Strong technical skills and ability to closely collaborate, influence, and gain the respect of engineering teams

  • You possess financial acumen and fully understand daily business performance, quick in getting to root cause, as well as build out financial models for new platform initiatives

  • You display an end-to-end solution thought leadership and partnership, known with the ability to resolve conflict and protect productivity

  • You are successful at influencing and working with diverse groups in divisional teams You are skilled at canvassing opinions and alternative views You are at ease with evaluating and making recommendations across competing and equally critical business needs

  • You demonstrated commercial results which balancing innovation and commercial realization, in time delivery to meet both short term, and long-term goals

  • You are big picture focused whilst skilled at zeroing in on the product and engineering details and delivering continuous improvement

  • You have BS or BA degrees in Computer Science, engineering, and business field
