Act as a trusted strategic partner and advisor to senior level leadership and management in areas of change management, organization effectiveness, talent management, culture and leadership
Collaborate closely with Leaders to understand business needs and strategic priorities in order to build the HR strategic plan
You will drive change strategies that align with a performance culture; improve performance, business outcomes and employee engagement
Provide leadership, direction & coaching to your team of HR Business Partners as we develop our business partner model
Use your business acumen to align HR strategy to the overall business strategy and objectives; develop HR business strategies to drive key business results; provide guidance on talent management, workforce relations, organization design and compensation
Through your HR Expertise you will integrate HR services with organizational initiatives; develop and implement HR operational strategy for your businesses
Network with other HR professionals across Stryker to determine best practices in support of organizational direction and ensure the delivery and development of high quality HR processes and policies
Develop strategic partnerships with the senior business leaders, HR Operations and HR Centers of Expertise throughout the organization to identify and contribute toward initiatives that address organizational strategic goals and needs
Continue the strong partnership with our Workers Council & Unions in our Kiel Site

What are we looking for

Bachelors degree is required and an MBA/Business Masters is desirable HR or Legal qualification is beneficial
Proven track record in a HR Leadership role; with demonstrated experience interacting with COEs and senior business leaders
Ideally 10 years of work experience required Previous HR experience, including the support of multiple functional areas required
Ideally 4 years of direct supervision of others
Demonstrated success in building a proactive, business focused, strategic human resources team that is seen as a trusted advisor, credible activist, provides strategic and operational business thinking
Skilled with change processes in complex systems, conflict resolution and group dynamics
Strong track record in building partnerships with unions/works councils
Excellent collaboration and communication skills; strong cross-functional influencing skills; plus the ability to relate well to colleagues
Strategic A strong strategy based thinker looks at the short and long term impact of decisions made
High achiever Is creative & seeks at all times to deliver the best in an agreed timeframe
Develops Talent Builds the best teams and maximizes their development and impact He/she values different backgrounds and thought to reach ones potential, seeks feedback and accepts accountability to develop and grow
