E-commerce is rapidly growing and redefining the way we shop and buy In the online space, it is critical that HP and our reseller partners are pushing innovation and best practices for HP products and optimizing the online shopping experience in the age of the endless digital shelf

This role is part of team of experts and sales teams that is driving e-commerce best practices and results in HPs printing category We look at the performance of HP printing products online with associated printer supplies as a leading indicator of the health of our business

Role Objective

The Digital Business Development team is responsible for growing and accelerating HPs ecommerce sales with HPs largest reseller partners In this role, you will help drive sales and activate conversion on partner platforms as an extended member of category sales teams This role will develop and lead innovative digital programs to optimize HP sales at assigned resellers Successful candidates are digital experts with good customer management and negotiation skills Candidates should have a proven track-record of successfully driving online sales and growing share online

Responsibilities

Provide hands on analysis and recommendations in the areas of SEO/SEM, e-commerce best practices, user experience design best practices, content marketing, web/digital analytics and reporting

Develop strategic plans with assigned resellers com team to grow the size of the business and HPs printing share on resellers ecommerce platform, including resellers third party marketplaces where applicable
Partners effectively with others in the account to ensure coordinated, efficient account management with HP sales teams
Motivates resellers organization based on digital acumen and HP knowledge
Coordinates and directs efforts across HP business groups to support business objectives with assigned reseller(s)
Knowledge and ability to create or provide input to digital scorecards / dashboards for partner com business
Thorough understanding of HP products to showcase benefits to assigned reseller(s) and their supporting organizations
Work closely with all digital teams at HP to maximize synergies across organizations
Work closely with HPs partners on all digital touchpoints on the partners platform to improve sales and conversation
Role will initially focus on US partners

Qualifications - Knowledge and Skills

Savvy digital professional with minimum eight years of experience driving results across e-commerce and digital strategies
Effective P&L responsibility for digital budgets
Strategic account management for partners and clients
Proven Leadership skills and ability to work successfully in teams
Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel Dimensions include competitive positioning and business models understanding, a plus
Effectively sells HP offerings by building strategic relationships with partner decision makers on com team; aligning partner and HP to promote HP programs and offerings
Knowledge of some of the following products and categories good to have Printing category (Printers, Ink / Toner), Laptops, PCs

Minimum Digital Requirements

Robust understanding of SEO/SEM and knowledgeable and up-to-date on emerging SEO trends
Experience building business cases / strategy based on data and analytics Ability to analyze data and Key Performance Indicators in order to create actionable insights
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
Clear understanding of e-commerce best practices to drive improved conversion
Hands on experience working with one or more of the following tools BrightEdge, Moz, Benchtools, SEM Rush, AdWords, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or Amazons platform

Education and Experience Required

University or Bachelors degree

Typically 8-12 years of selling experience and/or digital agency experience working with clients
