Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to maintain the Security incident management process of Vodafones Cyber Defence Incident Management team You will ensure that reported security incidents are consistently handled, appropriately escalated and managed, and that lessons learned from prior incidents are collected,tracked and acted upon to prevent future occurrences

Responsible for the set-up, execution and maintenance of the securityincident management process in conjunction with operator and customer / partnerincident management capabilities

As a member of a critical business function, the successful candidate must exhibit the following characteristics (i) common sense to make efficient and acceptable decisions, (ii) highly effective oral and written communication skills to interact with both end-users and stakeholders

Manage the incident management processes between all relevant parties (Vodafone Technology, Operating Companies, Suppliers, etc)
Build upon existing relationships and help nurture new ones with the ever-expanding local markets and regions that are supported
10-14 years of relevant working experience
Profound experience in Cyber Incident Management in a global organization
Excellent communication capabilities to provide rapid and concise summaries of complex scenarios (written & spoken
Experience in coordinating complex technical issues, while havingthe ability to cope with stress and work under pressure
Strong Incident call management skills to manage the most critical cyber incidents in a very structured and coordinated way
Strong enterprise networkingunderstanding of principal
Strong knowledge and experience with SANS 6 Steps Incident handling methodology
Experience in tuning and improving process relevant to Cyber Defence Incident Management operations
Functional lead formanaged incident handling as well as underlying processes and tools
he candidate should have the ability to follow policies and procedures, cope with critical situations and be highly valued as a team player
Take part in the improvement of existing processes and suggest new ways for operational efficienc
Drive and improve central incident managementcapabilities
Managing the incident process communication and provisioning of appropriate technical media (eg on demand conference call lines)
Driving incident emergency communication processes
Good to have Experience in project management and process improvements

A reputation for self-motivation, integrity, cultural sensitivity and strong interpersonal skills
