Job Description:

Support the standardization and roll out of QA and automated test processes
Provide QA status reporting as well as updates to Senior Management and the lines of business
Oversees the management of the full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and auditing
Train and enable all QA personnel and their supported lines of business on new processes and automation
Responsible for creating and managing the Enterprise Test Calendar and Testing schedule of application releases and deployments planned on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality of releases
Participate in the Agile development intake process to provide forward views of change and work requests to the infrastructure, software development, and other Development teams to ensure adequate lead time is available to fully test, in support of the acceptance process, all development cycles
Leverage JIRA/ TFS for Application Lifecycle Management traceability and Release Automation
Understand the deployment and environment requirements for all applications, technology solutions
Coordinate with required governance and compliance entities to expedite testing
Work with the Directors of DevOps and Product Acceptance to support the rollout of a DevOps culture and Agile Methodologies
Automate testing processes and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline to achieve continuous delivery of software products
Coordinate handoffs with appropriate companion organizations to ensure that procedures and results are fully documented and understood
Oversees the product design, bug verification and beta support which may require research and analysis
Resolves critical issues and contributes to the business unit/area development
Manages work efforts of managers/supervisors with responsibility for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay reviews
Identifies and allocates technical resources to client projects within Development Includes a mix of FTEs assigned to the development organization and purchased resources from other lines of business
Forecasts resource needs based on an analysis of both portfolio and projected client spend
Maximizes both utilization and profitability of assigned team of resources billable time
Ensures base applications meet established quality standards expected of a FinTech industry leader
Establishes and contributes to the departmental application development and client delivery process standards
Coordinates with industry compliance consultants and product managers to verify applications meet regulatory compliance
Ensures proper and effective application of technology
Other related duties assigned as needed

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Capable of enforcing processes and procedures
Advanced knowledge of Agile Methodologies, QA lifecycle and test automation
Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
Advanced Knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and processes
Experience working with Infrastructure Operations and Production Operations

7 years background working in Information Technology; with experience in QA and Release Management
Understand of test automation and supporting processes
Experience with design and implementation automation
Experience with implementing ITIL and CMMI methodologies a strong plus
Solid understanding of Application Release engineering and application lifecycle process management
Experience engineering solutions and developing best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
Highly motivated, enterprising, excellent team player, also able to work autonomously
Strong desire to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes and capable of enforcing processes and procedures

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent degree
