In this job, youll be responsible for making sure everything in Digital Design works like clockwork for our employees; from on-boarding new designers to collaboration tools across the department Youll be accountable for managing and rolling out the Digital design system, pattern library and toolbox methods

Youll be building the design culture and improving the community including working practices and spaces The exact digital products in the scope of any of our roles will evolve over time

What youll be doing

You will beaccountable for and relentlessly focused on providing the best employee experience possible

Design System, you will beresponsible for the implementation, and ConsumerDigital-wide application of a brand new single design system serving multiplebrands
Pattern Library-You will beresponsible for the application ofthe Design System across all digital activities as itgrows andmatures from static guidelinesto a dynamic code-driven system withthe goal ofcreating a single code repository in conjunction with the engineering team
Tooling & Training - You willbe responsible for supporting thedesign and content teams through selection,purchasing/budgeting,maintenance and training ofall necessary hardware andsoftware tools as wellas a focus on budgeting and arranging training, learning, conferences etc
Research -You will beresponsible for enabling operational efficiencies in the research area when it comesto runningthe lab facilities, participant recruitment, budget planning etc
Design practices- Accountable for ensuring the efficient andoptimised operation of theentire Digital Design team, in conjunction with the rest of Consumer Digital
Design Impact- Accountable for scaling the visibility & understanding of design across Digital
Principles - Support, socialise and enable the Digital Experience principles Playbook - Support and update the service manual across design and the playbook of activities, templates, practices & lean approach to all work

A spectrum of technical expertise across the following skills (with a specialism in some areas)

Knowledge of how all the main areas of Product Design, Content Design, SEO, User Research &Accessibility work andwhatit would take to improve the activitiesinvolved ineachof them; including (but notlimited to)
Interaction Design & Prototyping, Visual Design &Finesse, Information Architecture, User Journey Mapping , User Research & Testing, Data Analysis, MVT &A/B Testing, Micro Copy & Micro InteractionDesign, Content Creation & Curation, ContentMarketing,Hierarchy & Journey Planning, Personalisation &Engagement Optimisation, Content Editing & Publishing, CMSmanagement &Optimisation, Accessibility & Inclusive Design
DesignOps, ResearchOps & ContentOps -a focus on theareas covered by these disciplines andevidence of successfully implementingchange driven by thesethree approaches including how they have benefited the people involved,the customer experience and thebusiness commercially as a result
