Job Title Deputy General Manager Department Business Management

Reports To AVP/President

Job Summary

Brand Activations / Event Teams create brand loyalty for companies They bring brands to life and create an emotional connection with target consumers for our clients

Key responsibilities Deliverables

- Excellent Networking Skills

- Through market knowledge/Biz knowledge

- Demonstrates out of the box thinking along with being a problem solver

- Strong BD Skills along with Competition intelligence

- Knowledge over other function/s (Ops)

- Take responsibility for shaping and managing the profitability of agency clients

- Formulate plans to retain and grow existing business and bring on new clients

- Should have handled exhibitions, Activations, Intellectual Event Properties, Stall Designing and execution, Business Conferences, Celebrity/Artist Management, Lifestyle/corporate events, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Events), etc

- Taking the lead in internal briefing sessions and attending client meetings

- Translating clients briefs into actionable communication assets & strategies

- Event conceptualization (themes, messages, purpose), budgeting and onsite management

- Project planning for each event, including budgeting and Monitoring against the plan

- Excellent vendor and third party sub contractors relationship

Client Relationship

- Actively listens to client perceptions, needs, and expectations and anticipate client questions or needs

- Have clear knowledge of the clients priorities

- Seek feedback, and turn it into the meaningful and actionable direction for the clients brand/s

Education and Qualifications

- Graduate / Post Graduate in Mass Communication / Advertising/ Diploma In Event Management

- Great Presentation Skills

- Strong knowledge of agency processes and people, and demonstrate the ability to navigate effectively

- Ability to process, prioritize, develop a plan of action, deliver solutions and manage client expectations (ie managing client requests with internal team members, Vendors etc)
