GTM Business Analyst - Marketing
- The ANZ | MY | SG GTM Marketing team is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all marketing strategies, communications and initiatives that create demand to hit the quarterly and yearly financial plans The team is responsible for building brand consideration using best in class campaigns and media that ultimately drive calls to the call centre and visits to dellcom to generate revenue, units, and margin
- This role is critical in the planning and management of CSB demand and requires a strong background in marketing analytics including forecasting, planning, performance diagnosis, reporting and statistical model development The ANZ | MY | SG Marketing Analyst will provide analytical insight and reporting on marketing performance, to increase overall marketing efficiency, conversion and revenue optimisation This role will partner with a variety of roles within the CSB organisation, including day-to-day partnerships with GTM teams, Marketing Planning and Media Planning, MTO as well as other organisations including Merchandising, Online, Cycle Planning, Finance, and CRM
Key Responsibilities
- Demand forecasting at segment (CSMR, Gaming, SB), functional (Online, Offline) and vehicle level
- Data analysis with actionable insights to improve demand
- Planning and partnership with vehicle leads to plan and execute for meeting business needs
- Planning and partnership with media agency to develop and deliver aligned strategies
- Identification & lead in gap analysis & recommended actions for GTM strategy
- Manage tools to support and deliver demand forecasting ie, MMM, IDM
- Management of regional analytic projects; ad hoc analysis, as required
- Design of reporting and KPIs to track campaign performance
- Provide performance tracking on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis (via automation) and provide analysis/insights on campaigns and digital initiatives in a timely manner
Essential Requirements
- Thorough understanding of marketing vehicles, digital and broad reach
- Strong business acumen and analytic skills Solid background in data analysis with ability to draw accurate conclusions and sell - story
- Familiar with marketing ROI and optimisation
- Project management, Effective communication and Data driven attitude
- SAS or R, Excel, Power Point, PowerBi, Tableau, Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture fluency
- Predictive statistics background preferred Appetite for driving innovation and change
- Good organisational agility and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions and lines of business in a virtual organisation
- Ability to manage through ambiguity to drive results Ability to work independently and as part of a Team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Desirable Requirements
Bachelors Degree/PG in Marketing, Business or related area plus 7+ years of experience in marketing with a track record of measurable results preferably in the consumer electronics/retail marketing or IT industry/technology
Desired Profile
- A self-starter, with a passion for digital and ability to identify when to take risks
- Able to multi-task and can work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Good knowledge Microsoft Excel, SEM and Google Analytics
- Solid understanding of Dells Corporate and Local BUs cultures highly preferred
