The Role Responsibilities

Service Management

As a Service Manager, your focus should been on improving the service you deliver to customers

Ensure all incidents are managed effectively and all high Sev incidents are resolved with minimal business impact and appropriate RCAs are carried out

Ensure Production service stability for the Database Platforms

Ensure any audit findings from DB Audits are acted upon in a timely manner to meet deliverables

Ensure highest levels of governance is enforced in matters pertaining to Database Operations , Security & Capacity

Our Ideal Candidate

Role expectation

Strong background in IT infrastructure support and operations

Service Management skillsets on Incident, problem and continuous improvement

Exceptional verbal and email writing skills

Ability to command and drive agenda with senior management ie application stakeholders

Provides highly analytical approach on problem solving

Strong process knowledge and coordination skills

Highly organized and always has a positive can-do attitude

Having any Bachelor or Master Degree

Documentation skills for processes and procedures

Project management experience would be good to have

Qualification & Skills

Extensive and relevant domain and technical experience, 8 years of technical management experience is preferred

Technical skills

O/S Linux / Unix

Database Oracle & Postgres ( Preferred )

Functional skills

ITIL Aligned Service Management Methodology

Good appreciation / understanding of banking Front, Middle and Back office processes

Soft skills

Motivated, passionate about technology

Proactive, self starter

Good team spirit
