Job Description:

We are looking to add a seasoned Database Engineer to our growing team who can assume ownership of all structured data at MilkorWater

In this critical role you will be expected to work with the current database engineering team and take on the total responsibility from modeling to design to rollout to upkeep

You will naturally be at expert level with all things related to building and running an efficient database installation Some programming experience (most preferably in Java) will be required to smooth out interactions with downstream users You can learn about integration with Java, R or Excel while on the job

At the core you should bring strong understanding of computing and software engineering principles, a bent for automating stuff (IOW doing-more-with-less) and a very strong sense for robustness, Black Swans, fallback, recovery and up-time

You will be learning about securities and investments as you go Stuff like Stocks, Mutual Funds, Indexes, Bonds, Derivatives,
