Job Description * To support and enable the production and maintenance of financial information for analysis * Update spreadsheets to implement calculation method related to the requirement (Spreadsheets may include VBA coding) * Experience of conducting detailed data analysis including before and after comparisons * Draft and maintain up-to-date appropriate documentation and checklists for any processes that are implemented * Liaise with development business and systems support teams * Ability to identify and understand business issues and understand the impact on the business of proposed solutions * Maintain an ‘audit trail’ and version control to demonstrate the adequacy of the spreadsheet controls for future enhancements to the product * Ability to audit identify and discuss defects record them and subsequent fixes * Seek and act on opportunities to develop technical and business understandingKey Skills * Experience and knowledge of Visual Basic SQL Access Macros Advanced Excel * Expert on MS Excel * 2+ years of experience within Finance and Insurance BPO * Ability to interpret simple actuarial formulas * Awareness of the Financial Services Industry and regulatory environment and a reasonable knowledge of insurance products
