Role Type Two secondment opportunities available; duration is 6 months

ANZ Wealth business provides customers with investment, superannuation, insurance and advice solutions, via ANZ channels and financial advisers It is focused on bringing people closer to their wealth to help them see, shape and secure its potential

This role reports to the Manager, Remediation Data, and is responsible for gathering data from various sources, interprets and turns data into information to be used to improve and make important business decisions

Key accountabilities include

Building strong working relationships with the business and understanding their needs and requirements
Delivering timely, accurate data analysis/reporting for the Wealth Remediation project
Performing various data management tasks such as coding for data extraction, cleaning, shaping, reconciling from various source system, to provide insights and analysis required for decision making
Assisting in solving complex business problems using strong analytical skills and presenting findings in clear and simple formats
Ensuring that all work adheres to relevant data and IT standards and processes

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following skills, experience and knowledge

Undergraduate degree in Information Technology
Proven experience in financial planning sector as a Data Analyst
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel (VBA and macros), Access and Power BI
Advanced experience in SQL with exposure to C#, SSIS, SQL Server Stored Procedure and Python
SQL Server Database Administration experience is highly desirable
Has a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
Critical thinking and strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail
