Job Description:

The Product Manager is responsible for contributing to the development of the product-market strategy, defining new product requirements, and driving new product development to grow products in-line with the organizations business goals

Key Responsibilities-

1Create product roadmap and drive the regional stage phase-gate process for developing new products of the company

2 Evaluate requirement and feasibility of new products based on research studies, market sizing and competition benchmarking studies

3 Create phase-gate process documents such as Marketing Requirement Document (MRD), product business case, value chain and customer use cases

4 Conduct product trainings for exec team, sales team and call center/service team

5 Create and maintain repository of competition information such as market share, regional partner-wise price list, specification sheets, pictures, packaging etc and share updated competition pricing dashboard with global team on monthly basis

6 Lead Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) exercise for category growth and charting of consumer journey

7 Ensure certification for newly launched products, like BIS, LG etc

8 Support development of strategies for go-to-market, product pricing, product positioning, after sales, consumer warranty

9 Support field testing of product, collecting campaign performance feedback, sales feedback (including product performance) and conduct RoI measurement of launch campaign

10 Support development of sales forecast, inventory tracking mechanism and maintain region wise value chain

11 Conduct post launch sales assessment studies to provide feedback to Product development team (on product feature improvement) and to sales team (on managing category mix and SKU deployment)

12 Managing/updating marketing repository for the product portfolio

13 Developing new product launch kits

14 Conducting product immersion / product dip stick study among the target consumers

15 Managing key stakeholders / regular updates for the existing/upcoming product

16 Ensure Data Integrity and Maintenance of product information in the system

17 Monthly inventory update/push in channel for new products

18 Analyzing stock and inventory status and raising red flag for the areas needing attention

19 Identify opportunities for incremental sales of existing products

20 Support online sales management

21 Identifying new Product requirements as per market research/ interacting with channel partners and converting the insights for product development

Successful Candidate Profile-

1 MBA/PGDM in Marketing from a premier institute

2 Good verbal and written communication skills

3 Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

4 Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and organize

5 Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

6 Should be willing to travel (even to remote locations)
