Customer Journey Expert / Business Analyst - Product Forensic Analytics

The purpose of the Product Forensics Analytics Squad is to ensure we do the right thing by our customers, to build and sustain trust We work to fulfil our mission through the ongoing prevention and detection of the unexpected so that the customer experience is seamless and reliable

Our scope

We perform product and forensics analytics to detect and prevent the unexpected across the Retail and Commercial Bank product sets to drive continuous improvement and positively influence strategic change
We perform deep drives into high-risk areas to determine root causes and improvement opportunities with Technology and Product areas We build continuous monitoring mechanisms to proactively manage, prevent and detect product risks across Australia Division and drive immediate action
We upskill product areas in data analytics to enable them to become self-sufficient

As a Customer Journey Expert / Business Analyst, you will not only execute but help design and optimise the internal operating model, processes and supporting artefacts of the growing Product Forensics Unit

What you bring to the Product Forensics Analytics Squad

Technical Expertise

You will have extensive hands-on experience in business process design and improvement, where you are proficient in handling ambiguous and evolving business requirements and be able to synthesize them into tactical and strategic iterations This

It is expected that you will bring the following

Proficiency in Agile Methodology (Scrum, Kanban)

Proficiency in Business Process Management

Proficiency in Lean Management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Visio)

Proficiency in Atlassian Confluence and Jira

Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to effectively influence outcomes

Previous experience in project management and managing change

Though you will not necessary perform product forensics analytics, you should have an understanding of product management and data analysis, with

Proficiency in data models, database design and interaction/interrogation

Experience in SQL for handling large data sets

Understanding in data warehousing and the ETL process

Experience in the design of visualisation mechanisms and underlying toolsets (eg QlikSense, Power BI, and Tableau)

Domain Competency

Experience in working with Retail and Commercial banking products is advantageous You will at least have a deep understanding of the product mechanics of one or more Retail or Commercial banking product type, or an equivalent understanding of other types of product which are highly complex, of a service/intangible nature and reliant upon multiple systems in which to operate
