Job Description:

The CTS Engineering Manager in Hyderabad will be responsible for establishing CTS Engineering from the ground up The CTS business unit is looking for the right technologist to build a high performing team of engineers that increases overall engineering capacity to deliver on ambitious business objectives and continue driving ASV growth

The engineer selected for this role will be able to demonstrate a strong technical foundation and experience with or aptitude for technical leadership and personnel management Given the variety of technologies employed by CTS, the Engineering Manager should have a high comfort level with foundational technologies and best practices, be eager to get into the technical details, and feel comfortable managing and mentoring engineers regardless of the technologies they use

Responsibilities

Collaborate with local CTS Product Development and the global CTS Engineering team to help scale a rapidly growing business

Develop local CTS Feed Product and client workflow operational excellence

Troubleshoot, triage, and escalate client workflow issues

Identify new development opportunities that improve the scalability and quality of client workflows

Scale onboarding of Open FactSet Marketplace DataFeeds through collaboration with CTS Engineers and Product Owners

Partner with global CTS Engineering on Shift Left and Cloud migration development opportunities

Manage local Quality Assurance engineers Mentor and support them in their transition to engineering

Build and lead a high performing team of engineers Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Software or Systems engineering and demonstrated aptitude for management

Bachelors or greater in Computer Science or similar

Deep understanding of at least one database technology (RDBMS or NoSQL) and scripting language and/ or object oriented programming language Relevant technologies include, but are not limited to, SQL, Python, perl/ shell, C#/ C++, Java

A realistic, pragmatic approach Can create project work that delivers incremental progress towards a high-level vision

Excellent communication skills Can communicate with a variety of audiences

Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and new challenges
