Job Description:

AVP - Business Development (GT)



- Responsible for sales from small-medium businesses (Retail, HoReCa, food processing units etc) in the city

- Responsible for the overall sales growth in the region and planning for the same, this includes new account acquisition and managing customers relationships to minimize churn

- Identify trends and understand market needs Exploring different channels and avenues for growth

- Responsible to driving metrics like noof orders per retailers, average order value, retailer rejection etc

- Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on complaints, commitments made by team members etc


- Responsible for leading a team of more than 100 managers and sales executives as well as takes ownership of the entire process

- Build a sustainable talent pipeline in line with workforce planning

- Foster high potential talent development

- Manage team performance and motivation in a highly competitive market

Collaboration and Coaching

- Collaborate with other functions to achieve business objectives

- Train sales team on products, trade, processes and customer management

- Responsible for providing market feedback to the management and help drive decision making
