Cisco is looking for an expert marketing and advertising copywriter who understands how to make the impact along all the touchpoints along the customer journey Our team needs not just a digital marketing copywriter; we need a storyteller who understands our customers insights, their roles, their pain points, personal and business benefits The ideal candidate will craft core value propositions and compelling messages for each stage of the lifecycle to maximize relevance and impact, ultimately aligned to customer care about

What Youll Do Demonstrate advanced copywriting expertise across a variety of marketing channels including but not limited to, digital, events and collateral
Show expertise in the craft of writing at all levels, (headlines, body copy, scripts, long-form & short-form copy) that connects emotionally and/or rationally with customers
Set strategic verbal direction for creative executions and fact check copy, ensure grammatical accuracy and review for message transparency and understandability relative to marketing strategy
Collaborate closely with Graphic Designers throughout concept development, presentation, and execution
Adheres to consistent use of language and strategies across multiple components of a campaign
Work closely with key stakeholders to shape brand vocabulary for a line of businesses
Champion the development of consistent practices, corporate style, and brand standards and work to socialize them across teams and supported businesses
Possess a deep understanding of the brand voice and style and ensure they are applied appropriately and thoroughly across all executions
Maintain a thorough and current awareness of the competitive landscape as it pertains to communications in all media touchpoints
Deliver on time, while ensuring that quality is never compromised
Respond positively to feedback

Who You Are Experience in an agency/design studio setting
4-year degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing Advertising, Journalism, English or other liberal arts program
5 years of writing experience in digital marketing, focused on email, online creative and collateral
Experience in the Service Provider industry, or B to B marketing in the technology sector
Experience brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
Prior experience working with Product Marketing, Advertising, Omnichannel marketing, and creative teams
Develop messaging that speaks to the service provider audience in clear and compelling headlines, storylines and copy
Experience working with all levels of management
Strong communication skills (written, verbal)
At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams
Will be required to provide portfolio examples of writing style
Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Basic graphic design ability is a plus but not required
