Position Purpose & Summary

Provide a seamless, timely and effective execution of contracts management to the inter-connecting desks (trading, accounting, trade execution) enabling them to concentrate on their respective responsibilities and expertise Provide contract / contract amendment drafting support to facilitate timely completion of completing of contracting activities

Principal Accountabilities

65 PERCENT Contract administration and daily entry of trade contracts / pricings / futures into the system within specified time limits

- Daily review of futures positioning report (Lynx by JPM)

- Daily review of trading report (Neovest)

- Daily communication with counter parties like brokers, buyers & sellers

- Daily matching of all the documents ie future report, trade recap, trading report and trade communication

- Daily preparation of long form contracts with detailed terms and conditions after matching previous standard trades

- Daily co-ordination with various traders of different commodities regarding finalization of various contracts

- Daily uploading of contracts on common share drive and getting them e-sign

15 PERCENT Daily sending of trade confirmation to various (internal/external) counterparties

- Daily communication to different buyers, sellers, brokers etc regarding the status of their various contracts

- Daily sending of signed contracts to various counter parties

- Daily follow up for returned signed contracts

5 PERCENT Filing of contracts and related supporting trade documents

5 PERCENT Follow-up with counterparties for returned signed contracts

5 PERCENT Independently handling daily position/P&L reporting

- Various trades entered daily has a direct impact on the daily positions and the P&L All the entries must be done within a specified strict deadline without fail Daily independent handling of commodity will be there hence wrt each commodity position & PNL, individual will be directly responsible

5 PERCENT Other responsibilities include administrative task as given by Trading desk from time to time


Required Qualifications

Graduate/Post Graduate degree

Good communication skills in English both verbal and written and comfortable working with international environment

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience

Meticulous Focus on details Experience in Microsoft programs especially Words & Excel Experience in SAP would be an added advantage Knowledge of commodity trading is preferred

Exposure to International Business contracting in commodity trade

Clarity and knowledge of Incoterms, export documentation and international payment terms etc

Knowledge of L/C terms and conditions preferred

Fair exposure with overseas customers with direct business communication

Innovative and challenging attitude
