Community Affairs - Data Project Manager

The Role

As a Manager in the Operations team in Community Affairs, you will be a part of a dynamic, talented team that is responsible for finance, operational, and project management support for the philanthropy and volunteer needs of the organization

As a Manager you will

Analyze large sets of data to gain an understanding of the data, discover data anomalies, and look for ways to leverage data in support of the Community Affairs/External Affairs mission
Define and document key business processes, technical requirements, data scenarios and data transformation
Analyze stakeholder needs to help define technical solutions and oversee formal requirement deliverables
Independently interact with stakeholders to understand problem/opportunity
Facilitate the flow of information between stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of needs and deliverables
Manage and identify new features and enhancements to existing system of record-Cybergrants
Collaborate with the IT team to identify opportunities with reporting and data platforms
Document key business processes, technical requirements and data deliverables

The ideal candidate will have

Experience working with large data sets
Strong communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Manage and complete multiple projects and programs concurrently
Demonstrate outstanding partnership skills work closely with the Corporate Affairs team, External Affairs team, and Finance and Accounting teams
Ability to explain data models requirements and issues to non-data savvy users

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or Military experience
At least 2 years of experience in Project Management
At least 2 years of experience analyzing large sets of data to gain an understanding of the data, discovering data anomalies, and looking for ways to leverage data in support of the Community Affairs/External Affairs mission

Preferred Qualifications

Experience Defining and documenting key business processes, technical requirements, data scenarios and data transformation
Experience in experience defining and development outcome measurements for grants
BPM, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Proven business relationship, communication and influencing skills
Strong teamwork skills
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
Strong Project and Process Management skills
