Commercial Real Estate, Relationship Manager V

Summary
This position is for a senior business development banker reporting to the NYC Market Manager, focused on developing and servicing relationships with real estate clients in the Commercial Real Estate office in New York, NY This role as a Relationship Manager (RM), requires preparing customer proposals, analyzing financials, completing pre-screen deal memos, managing prospecting databases and servicing customer relationships The banker will also assist the manager with data research, analysis, and reporting

Responsibilities

- The Senior Relationship Manager (RM) is directly responsible for sourcing and managing new and current CRE clients

- Responsible for preparation of internal and external customer presentations, term sheets, as well as managing pipeline activity
- Complete pre-screen deal memos Includes an analysis of the industry, real estate property, company/ individual financial conditions, application of banks models for the evaluation of an opportunities viability and profitability
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients, both lending and depository products
- Lead the deal approval, underwriting, and closing processes to manage clients expectations and internal partners
- Commanding knowledge of products, deal structures, market trends, and client interaction
- Partner with internal stakeholders including Underwriting, Risk, Commercial Client Service, and Support and Treasury Management to provide an exemplary customer experience
- Mine internal and external databases to keep the data current, and to identify and prioritize corporate prospects and their key decision-makers
- Conduct cold calls across a prospect database to develop leads
- Participate in business development networking activities as a member of the CRE Banking team

Competencies
- Completion of a credit training program or the equivalent in work experience
- Proven success in Corporate Sales
-Team player with proven ability to execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrates the ability to build trust and foster relationships with customers, prospects and all bank partners
- Excellent business writing and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree or military experience
- At least 10 years of experience in Direct Sales, Risk Management, or Finance

Preferred Qualifications
- A Masters in Business Administration or a Masters degree in Finance

- Proficient in Argus and other online real estate market provides (REIT, Axiometrics, and Co-Star)
