Job Description:

Brief Job Description Plans, directs and leads the execution of all Country business strategies and achievement of key performance indicators
Provides leadership to ensure the full integration of all in-country sales, marketing, finance, regulatory, medical and human resources processes and major initiatives that support the achievement of country targets, including P&L
Responsible for driving International and Regional initiatives into the country business and monitoring and measuring performance against objectives

Main Duties and Responsibilities Market Development/Revenue Growth Overall management and responsibility for AstraZeneca Lebanon
Develops an annual Sales plan and specific market-focused strategies to grow the business profitably
Develops and nurtures customer relationships with key opinion leaders and government officials
Engages in developing and leading major strategic sales initiatives and participates selectively in developing, negotiating and managing major accounts
May play an active role in establishing distributor agreements and managing those relationships

Functional Excellence Leads the sales process by ensuring sales managers demonstrate the disciplines of AZ in the daily activities
Ensures the appropriate (right people and right number) sales resources dedicated to each area based on current revenues and profit, and future potential, and leads the implementation and follow up of activities embedded in High Performance Sales Management
Directs and guides the plans, activities and performance of staff members across the Country
Supports the Finance function in the development and implementation of sound financial practices and ensures resources are targeted to meeting both local and Finance strategic priorities

Organization Vitality Builds a dynamic local business culture within the Companys values and vision
Involves self personally in selecting, developing, motivating and retaining a team of highly qualified professionals

Business Integrity Ensures timely and accurate reporting on key performance indicators
Ensures that process controls are in place to protect company assets
Delivers outstanding business results without compromising AstraZeneca Code of Conduct and industry codes
Promotes an environment of full compliance to the regulatory requirements of the Company and the local Health Authorities in Country
Assure that the professional and ethical standards of AstraZeneca are always present, promoting and safeguarding its image before the media, the financial community and the public in general
Promote and support social activities towards the local community, assuring that the Company image will be looked upon as a trustworthy source to take care of ones health

Experience Minimum of 7 years of management work experience with multinational companies
Route up through sales and/or marketing Both, Sales and Marketing experience is a plus
2-4 years in a senior management capacity is essential (AZ Global Career Level E4 & F)
Diversified experience across different portfolios is a plus

Essential Requirements Location Based (willing to base) in Lebanon
University degree in Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration and/or Marketing
Business Knowledge and Market Understanding
Market Access capability and ability to build and manage AZs reputation with external stakeholder (governments, KEE etc)
Strategic thinking and customer orientation with an ability to network and influence stakeholders locally and globally
Innovates and develops an environment of continuous improvement
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are critical
A high energy and self-starting individual who serves as the personification of an aggressive and hard charging corporate culture

Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities
