As a Cloud Support Associate for iptiQ Americas, you will be working on several of the key technology initiatives leveraging cutting edge data, cloud and integration technologies You will be working with some of the brightest and smartest people who are set to change the insurance industry

Working within the CTO organization, you will build and support cloud-based solutions and setup DEV Ops practices working with a revolutionary technology stack You will partner with vendors and architects on solution frameworks and perform system administration of multiple systems across environments maintaining desired security levels for services in the cloud

The ideal person will be someone who can operate strategically and deliver tactically while driving vendor outputs, managing complex relationships in a matrix organization This person will have a broad understanding of technologies and have proven him/herself in supporting complex infrastructure and integration platform initiatives

About You

Technical Qualifications

Understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows and Linux, with hands-on experience on one or more of the following domains SQL Server, Azure SQL DB
Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Kubernetes Service
App Services or any Java application
CosmosDB or MongoDB

Act as a technical escalation point within the team for complex support issues, product feedback, and critical situations in the owned technology areas
Engage with Cloud engineering teams to understand their service architecture, operating models, and be able to navigate and work effectively
Identify emerging trends or recurring scenarios for the owned technologies and drive improvement feedback/repair items into Azure engineering
Based on customer feedback and insights gained while supporting our customers, partner with engineering teams to improve the Azure platform
Working experience in one or more languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, Open Source)
Relentlessly champion and drive technology related innovation to reduce customer pain and improve support efficiency in partnership with Azure engineering teams
Resolve critical and complex technical issues in a 24x5 global support model leveraging your deep technical and product expertise and partnering with peers
Performing complex application debugging and remediation when needed to drive Support incident resolution for configuration, code, or other service issues impacting customers

Other Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Math or equivalent work experience
2 Year Solid IT Experience
Experience in the insurance industry (life) is a plus
Focus on customers and passion for providing the right customer experience
Ability to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment
Develop and run technical readiness partnering with support and engineering
Help establish a real-time readiness model for the team by constantly updating training and readiness content as the cloud technology evolves
