In this role, you will interact with customers CxOs and technical leaders You will develop reference architectures, demos, product/solution briefs, workshop kits and white papers for internal and external audiences You will work closely with the OCI Security organization that develops the security products and applications which Oracle and its customers use to securely transform their businesses You need to be equally comfortable writing and speaking on those subjects to audiences of varied size and technical background

Responsibilities

Communicate Oracles Cloud Security strategy to C-Suite and technical leaders
Build customer-centric, best-in-class assets for understanding and using security on OCI
Work closely with Product Management to develop and deliver differentiated value propositions
Bring OCI Security subject matter expertise to the Oracle field team, customers and industry influencers
Identify and create compelling content including CISO workshops, tools for cloud security teams, demos and collateral
Spearhead opportunities to innovate by understanding customer requirements for cloud security

Preferred qualifications

Experience working as a CISO, Director of Network Security, or Cloud Security Operations leader
Experience working within internal security teams (ex SOC, incident response, red team)
Baseline knowledge of cloud computing and cloud security architecture
Exceptional written and oral presentation skills
Uncompromising attention to detail and technical accuracy

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overlay sales personnel providing specialist product expertise to the sales force

Partners with Account, Technology, and Application sales representatives to qualify and close new business on Oracle solutions Provides specific industry or product expertise to facilitate the closing of deals within sales representatives territory Interacts with sales team to architect the solution, and develop and execute solution strategies for market Manages solution opportunities to obtain appropriate and necessary resources for all qualified opportunities Leads teams in the sales process for establishing market visibility and deal visibility Presents/demonstrates solution to high level clients and industry conference attendees May provide training to field sales on industry/solutions Builds and maintains a network and up to date specific industry or product knowledge

Acknowledged authority within the Corporation Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology 12 years applicable experience preferred Subject matter expertise in industry/product space Knowledge of key industry leaders and management Knowledge of Oracle competition Presentation and product demonstration experience Previous consultative selling experience preferred Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with prospects and customers Travel may be needed BA/BS degree in related field
