Oracles Fusion Project Portfolio Management product team wants to identify a high energy Product Manager with creative ideas around building next generation project financial management applications As a Product Manager with our team, you contribute throughout the product development life cycle in a challenging and intellectually-stimulating environment You analyze customer requirements, develop a vision of the solution to fulfill the requirements, and manage the details of that vision to realization You also provide industry expertise and coordinate complex projects

Exploring opportunities to create software that facilitates the project financial management and control business process

Designing a new generation of user interfaces for tablets and mobile devices

Finding innovative ways to leverage the Oracle Cloud

Developing software using an Agile development methodology to quickly respond to our customers priorities and continually release new features

Expanding the use of business intelligence and graphical representations of project data for reporting

This position enables you to combine your knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, customer business requirements from a variety of industries, and project management processes and standards

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization Prior experience in project accounting and control, or project portfolio management is strongly desired Expertise in user interface design for both desktop and mobile applications is preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Work with a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture Define project needs Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans Review integration and regression plans created by QA Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area 4 or more years of product management, project accounting, or related experience
