This position is a member of the Digital Business Operations team within Global Clinical Supply (GCS), responsible for supporting both business operations as well as business intelligence

Primary responsibilities

The CS BI Manager is responsible for providing data solutions related to GCS business operations
The CS BI Manager prepare complex reports and gather intelligence data to make informed conclusions on GCS and DBO business practices; present findings and progress to GCS LT
The CS BI Manager work with the GCS functions variety of statistical methodologies to solve quantitative business issues and increase performances This includes reporting of operation, portfolio and vendor metrics, identifying and driving process improvements and cycle time reduction projects, supporting forecasting and both internal and vendor performance through past data analysis, and working with the Director of Business Operations as assigned

Organizational Relationship

Reports to Digital Business Operations Head
Matrix reporting to the Director of Business Operations
Interface with key partner and customer contacts
Strong partnership with Global Clinical Supply functional lines


Responsible for supporting operational reporting (eg Monthly Operations Review meetings) portfolio metrics reporting and vendor performance metrics and KPIs
Make recommendations for reporting improvements and optimization by analyzing and interpreting past results, performing variance analysis and identifying trends
Increases productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting/transferrable cost and data analysis tools This will include the creation of standard and ad-hoc reporting tools and dashboards
The Business intelligence manager performs assessments and risk analysis of the GCS Business Operations on a regular basis
Analyzes, tracks GCS functions lines metrics, KPIs and On Time in Full
Prepares Past metrics collection for monthly Operations meetings
Tracks, analyzes external vendors performances, deliverables and capacity
Collects portfolio milestones, delivery from GCS functions
Supports International DBO Groups for their metrics and operational reviews
Publishes actual performance, KPIs, Metrics and demand for Internal operations and external Vendors
Analyze transferrable cost financial data and create financial models to aid effective decision making as needed
Proactively make recommendations and collaborate cross-functionally as required to drive program enhancements across the finish line
In collaboration with the Director of Business Operation, work on projects as assigned and develop strategic forecasting and planning decisions for projects based upon consideration to the level of quality, customer service, delivery reliability and cost of operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal GCS business lines, Finance, Project Managers, Digital Technology and other external business lines
Consistently strive to meet commitments to customers and optimize operational effectiveness with a patient first approach
Lead innovative solutions to track resource, budget and performance for GCS and DBO Develop new tool to manage resource across GCS in partnership with Digital technology, DBO Business Analyst and GCS functional leaders


Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related eld from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years of relevant experience as a business/nancial analyst, developing metrics and reports, using data insights to support business cases, planning, and decisions
Excellent Excel skills- Pivot tables, and automation of data analysis
High attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks across global time zones
Experience with Power BI required
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks/requests simultaneously under time constraints and meet deadlines in a professional manner
Full data life-cycle perspective (requirements gathering through production deployment and support)
Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to eectively communicate technical ideas verbally and in writing to non-technical sta


MS/MBA desired, with 3 years of relevant experience as a business/nancial analyst, developing metrics and reports, using data insights to support business cases, planning, and decisions
Experience with other data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus
