Reporting To Head of Institutional Client Group Switzerland, State Street Global Advisors in Zurich
Department Institutional Client Group
Location Zurich, Switzerland

Purpose of Role
Support the Institutional Client Group in Switzerland in all their client facing activities to develop
and expand State Street Global Advisors Swiss footprint

Main Responsibilities
Serve as primary day-to-day contact for clients and their service providers (ie custodian,
administrator etc)
Manage a set of core clients independently and take accountability and responsibility for the
Oversee seamless client implementations
Engage internal and external parties to ensure a high level of service Internal parties will
include areas such as Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Global Product &
Marketing and other teams
Develop subject matter expertise for the client base covered ie develop knowledge of local
market and regulations impacting clients
Attend and present at client meetings and coordinate and lead due-diligence meetings
Support and/or lead projects related to enhancing the firms overall business processes with
specific focus on client experience

Senior Management Reporting

Education & Experience
Completed university degree or equivalent degree from a business school (FH); CFA/CAIA/AZEK
would be a plus
Several years of experience in the asset management industry (ideally with Swiss institutional
and/or intermediary investors)
Strong interest in financial markets

Specific Technical Knowledge / Qualifications
Client oriented personality and experience in building strong relationships
Fluently in German and English, French and/or Italian is a plus
Track record of intellectual curiosity, ability and willingness to learn and adapt
Analytical and problem solving skills, strong attention to detail and communication versatility
Project management, multi-tasking and time management skills
Self-starter that will excel and thrive in a dynamic team environment
Working knowledge of relevant software applications in MS Office; Salesforce and Bloomberg is
a plus
