As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Financial Services Group Legal and Claims Practice Group The qualified candidate will be based in our New York office

Job Responsibilities

Manage the claims process for corporate clients from start to finish, including notifying carriers of new claims
Follow up for acknowledgment letters and coverage positions from insurers
Assist clients and brokers on coverage issues for Directors and Officers Liability, Errors and Omissions, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Fidelity, and Cyber policies
Request and provide status updates from clients to insurers
Seek consent for retention of defense counsel and settlement opportunities
Establish lines of communication between clients and insurance carriers
Serve as a client advocate with the insurers
Maintain adequate documentation on all claims
Maintain up-to-date records, including file maintenance and computer data maintenance
Contribute to data produced by the Legal and Claims Practice Group for the benefit of internal and external clients
Any and all other responsibilities as deemed necessary by supervisor to achieve the purpose of the job

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience

3-5 years claims, insurance or legal experience preferred
Attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and perform in a high-pace environment
Must possess Microsoft Word and Excel computer skills


Bachelors degree is required
